  1. The main problem with the Gaza conflict is that a large part of the media assume Hamas speaks the truth, but Israel does not. Whereas in actuality, a dictatorial terrorist group like Hamas has no incentive at all to speak the truth, but a democracy like Israel with freedom of the press and an independent judiciary, does have strong incentives to speak the truth. Bottom line: we should trust Israel more than Hamas. When they say they will investigate the event, believe them. Or at least give them the benefit of the doubt.
