  1. Do not accept that Trump can pardon himself. I'd argue that that would be an unconstitutional act, because it would violate many legal principles such as the Rule of Law and people not being allowed to judge themselves (pardoning someone is also an act of judgement). In fact, I'd argue that to pardon anyone who is part of the executive would violate the principle of three co-equal branches of government, as it would place the executive above the Judicial.
