  2. The USA has many, many problems. Corruption, political interference in the judiciary, media who have a license to lie & promote hate, etc, etc. When is the USA going to learn that there must be sensible limits to certain freedoms?

  3.  @alisonhouse2929  In the UK it is called the "Royal Prerogative of Mercy". Famous recipients include Alan Turing, undoing his 1952 conviction for "gross indecency" -- i.e. homosexuality. That was 2017, quite recently imho.
