  2. About the 60 minutes interview: where I live, in the Netherlands, MTG would be indicted for that interview. You can not call fellow politicians "pedophiles" without some serious proof. And even with that proof, you'd have to present your case in court, not in the media. Probably she would get a fine, and a warning that if she persisted in such high-profile name-calling she would get a gag order. Not all speech should be protected: there must be consequences for demonizing people. But it looks like first some people need to die before the USA will adopt sensible anti-hate speech laws. MTG should be able to make her point without making wild accusations of crimes. And you wonder why we think the USA is backward.

  3. Mrs Daniels says some sensible things. This reminds me of Al Capone, who was finally gotten by a tax man. Also poetic justice.
