@PatR2243 It should be MUCH easier to get rid of them. The Constitution says that they retain their seat "during good Behaviour". The bar for determining if they behaved well should be far lower than full-on impeachment in Congress. As with many things, the USA has strayed far away from the simplicity of the Constitution, and used it for Corruption.

@red.blue.seahorse1951 Withholding their salaries is unconstitutional. I am not kidding, the constitution specifically says Justices must be remunerated.

Trump and his lawyers are so hypocritical. Their appeals etc caused these delays, and now they complain that because of the delays they caused and demanded that the trial must be delayed some more. And the argument that this interferes with the election is asinine and unrespectful. The Judicial is a separate, co-equal branch of Government. That the defendant is trying to become head of the Executive is of no concern to the Judicial branch. In fact, normally it is the other way around. All politicians I know of that were somehow in hot waters with the Judicial have stepped down immediately. The fact that Trump is under 80+ indictments (and counting) should have made him drop out of the race long ago.

They must be impeached before anything else can be done. Impeachment is the only way to get them off the bench. And which laws did they break? AFAIK, they are allowed to take money and gifts from supplicants, because SCOTUS said they could. No matter that this is as corrupt as heck, SCOTUS decided this is legal.

@heinleinreader Actually, you are full of it. Have a read of the Third Article of the Constitution, section 1, and be enlightened.
