No, Trump being prosecuted is NOT double jeopardy. Because at the Senate "trial", Donald Trump was not in jeopardy. To be in jeopardy means that you are danger of punishment related to crimes you are accused of. Being fired is NOT punishment, it is a consequence in order to prevent future crimes. If you rob your boss and he finds out, you are fired on the spot. That is equivalent to being impeached & removed from office. But subsequently, your boss would bring charges against you in court. That is what is happening to Trump right now. The People fired him after his cronies in the Senate refused to, and now The People have brought charges for the many crimes he committed in office.
