  2. If the House of Representatives were to command Jack Smith to stop his prosecution of Trump "stay", all representatives approving that motion would be in hot legal waters. That would be a very obvious case of Obstruction of Justice. The representatives are immune from prosecution for what they say during debates, but not for what they do. However, I think the government will simply ignore any such order, as the President will veto it.

  3. How does this make the JD look like a fool? This was directed at Congress, not the JD. The JD is just being (overly) thorough in their treatment of citizen Trump.
