For Trump special rules apply. His crimes need to be proven beyond the slightest sliver of doubt. And still you risk a civil war by people who shout UNFAIR. But IMHO, it is better to confront that risk than to try and appease them. Trump is a criminal and needs to suffer the consequences, or else the Justice system in the USA has been proven totally corrupt.
