  1. The Republicans are reaping the consequences for electing loonies. It may make a few extremists happy, but more and more moderates are seeing that the GOP is no longer the GOP they used to know and love. Something very bad happened to the GOP: they got under the influence of Putin. They need to break those ties, suck up the scandals from the dirt Putin has collected on them, make integrity a priority, and start representing the voters again.
