For a country where political party is so much part of one's identity, it is a hopeful sign to see Republicans walking away. The Republican party has changed. It now stands only for raw selfishness, greed and corruption, the things that are destroying the USA right now. The USA was not created to be a beacon of selfishness or greed, but to be a beacon of hope and democracy.
