  1. Severing cases in a RICO case sounds disingenuous. It would mean a lot of double work for the court, the DA, juries and the witnesses. Which is probably why the defendants want it: clogging up the system, delay, delay, delay. It would be great if the judge will not separate the 2 from the other 17 and whole case got underway before the 1st. It is in the public's interest that these trials are handled quickly. Obviously the DA will need to keep track of how much evidence is presented for each defendant, but that should be no problem for them. I long to see these bags of filth locked up.
