  2. I don't think the Japanese would have done better in fighting the war if they had co-operated better. A country that encourages co-operation internally, also tends to co-operate internationally. I.e. they would never have started a world war if they recognized the value of co-operation. Their internal division was an offshoot & consequence of their sense of racial superiority and entitlement. Conversely, the move by the UK to separate from the EU will inevitable lead to the dissolution of the UK itself. Sowing division breeds more division. Forcing Scotland and NI to split off from the EU against their will, will cause them in their turn to abandon England.
