I recently heard about a man who jumped ship in the Soviet era and moved to Australia, who recently tried to visit his old country. He got arrested, and only because he was a naturalized Australian citizen, married to an Aussie, and the Aussies applied pressure, did he get out again. You won't be able to get back until Russia has become a real democracy, and an amnesty has been given to all people like you.
