  1. I think you are a bit optimistic on the chances of rejoining the EU as a full member. Massive reform will be needed in your political system, your laws and regulations, your monetary system, and your economic system that will be VERY painful to the ruling classes. Only after the EU is assured of your absolute commitment to the ideals and principles of the EU, by seeing you reform, will it even consider an application. And you will definitely NOT receive the same privileges you used to have. Those days are over. My guess is that it will take 25 years to see the UK back as member. Your betrayal of the EU has been seen, felt and acknowledged. It will take considerable effort on your side to regain our trust. Don't expect our sympathy after they way you have smeared us, and continue to smear us daily. First you need to discover how harsh life is after your betrayal. And don't for a second think we are being vindictive. You have decided to leave our house, so leave you shall. We shall be fair to you, even patient. But we have no obligations to you.
