  1. Great report! Sadly, the queues are here to stay. There is little the government can do about them. Business needs to adjust to the new reality of delays at the border. No more fresh produce, small consignments or just-in-time deliveries between the UK and the EU. That is exactly what they voted for. The so-called majority of Britons should rejoice. Who can blame the government for doing exactly what it meant to do, and what the voters gave it a massive mandate for. What, do I hear angry mutterings? Perhaps you need to do something about your political system or your sources of information...

  5.  @davidharris5736  Queues are a fact of life now for the UK-EU border. There is a lot of theory on how large your handling capacity needs to be to keep queues to a certain level, and it is LOT more than can reasonably be implemented.
