The engine in the front is a great idea. If the driver is hurt, you have a mobility kill regardless of how well the engine is protected.

Certainly takes care of your glass cleaners bill.

And from what I hear, they were quite good at it. Those Shermans didn't stand a stance.

IDF contractors are real patriots....

The one where the gun sets of the alarms of all cars in the neighborhood?

The Charge of the Light Brigade is still an awesome trope. But modern audiences have lost their appreciation for noble though futile self-sacrifice.

Excellent point that the Russian moral is still high enough to go and die for the motherland. What we need is that they start to mutiny, i.e. that they would rather go and die fighting Putin's regime.

What was the performance of this gun compared to the 88mm? Which one was the more often used against tanks? How many kills did these guns get compared to other methods of destroying tanks?

One interesting aspect of tanks is that they can contain a lot of equipment that can be used to gather sensor data & electronic intelligence and present that to the commander. As you mentioned briefly in tanks co-operating with drones. There are few places on a battle field where you can sit down and use both hands to interact with a a computer, and be well protected at the same time. I remember playing C&C Generals, where the blue tanks could equip drones to great effect. Does that make me an armchair general?

I haven't seen the movie, and have no desire to. It sounds like a dumb movie.
