I STRONGLY disagree with the idea that Zelensky should have massaged Trump more. This wasn't about that moment. This was about Trump getting even for not investigating Biden in 2018. Also, I believe Trump planned to put a different deal in front of Zelensky than what they had discussed earlier. For one, Trump called it a PEACE deal -- while it was intended to be a TRADE deal.
