@bulthaosen1169 Muslim countries have mostly been colonies for only a short period: less than 50 years. With the exception of Indonesia & Pakistan. Muslim countries have been self-ruled now for almost twice the period they ever were colonies.

It will be very interesting to see if there will be a Muslim "enlightenment", where they do away with the control of the Mullahs / Imams and other religious elites. Considering how much effort they exert to demonize the USA and Israel, the most prosperous global and regional powers respectively, the possibility for this to happen is real. However, I see a movement in the opposite direction in Muslim minorities living in western countries, and e.g. Turkey. They seem to move towards more fundamental Islam, and more hostility to the western way of life. I believe the battle against fundamental Islam will be a strong theme for the next century.

@gus892 And when they get that help, they quickly remove the stickers with the Red Cross logo and replace them with the Red Cresent. They do not want to acknowledge that they were helped by Christian nations.

From the title, this seems to be either a bigoted or racist video. I approached with some wariness. Instead, I found a delightful and well-researched economo-historic explanation of real issues. Well done!
