  1. The way judges are assigned to cases is ABSURD. That Judges are not preemptively recused when there is a possibility of conflict of interest is equally absurd. Judges can not be relied upon to recuse themselves, no-one can be relied upon to do the right thing when there is a conflict of interest. There is far, FAR too much room in the US legal system for a single person to frustrate the Course of Justice.
