  2. I totally agree with your analysis. Modern films suffer under just terrible writing. I don't mind female leads, as long as their characters are interesting. Just like with male leads. But I absolutely hate female leads who frame everything as a fight against the "patriarchy". Men are men, and have a right to be men. Men have it harder in life then women. Just look at the average lifespan. Or inside any prison. Or at suicide statistics. These couch feminists think they are slighted in life, that they are entitled to a better deal. But I don't see many women breaking their bodies every day in construction. Or walking behind a garbage truck. Or being drafted into an army.

  3. The biggest problem in Hollywood right now is terrible script writing. Writers have long ago discovered that perfect characters are just not interesting.
