  1. Great little point about the vast distance to other galaxies. Before we will be ready to colonize a planet around another star, we'd better first learn to spend several generations inside a metal container. Even the journey to Mars takes several years! All these fantasies to colonize other planets are just that: fantasies of rich people scared of humanity. Even if this planet becomes uninhabitable, it will be FAR easier to "terraform" than e.g. Mars. We'd better learn to take better care of our home, people!
