Even worse than that, she doesn't even say there is a plan. She just tells him to trust her. Without having done anything to inspire trust. And the people were not scared without reason. They were being massacred. You can't tell people to just sit still and wait for redemption while every nerve in every body screams to either fight or fly.

@laoaidan2400 No, they were written by people with an agenda, who were just looking for platform to preach that agenda to the unsuspecting audience. When I want to hear a sermon, I go to church. A church I trust and that appreciates me. I am not buying a cinema ticket to get preached at by Mrs Fury who hates men and thinks they are garbage. Go woke, go broke.

From wikipedia: "Feminism incorporates the position that societies prioritize the male point of view, and that women are treated unjustly within those societies." In the western world, females are treated much the same as males, with the remaining differences largely a result of biological or emotional differences, like a smaller inclination to negotiate a good salary, or the career interruption when kids arrive, or less inclination to play the power games men like to play. The modern feminist movement however still insists that women are treated unjustly, and thus actively antagonizes men. It also argues that women are better than men, as this movie does.

@sheadoherty7434 My point is that the feminists had a point 50 years ago, but not anymore. And that by denying that their goals have already been met, they have moved over to an extreme position where men are the enemy and are baaaad. What we need instead of feminism is a renewed appreciation for the differences between men and women. And I mean real differences, not those caused by habit or tradition. Because men and women are different, though of equal value. Current feminism doesn't acknowledge this simple fact. If you think I am misogynistic, you are wrong. The same qualities that make a woman good at managing a house hold, make her excellent at managing businesses. Some of the best managers I have known are women. I wish there were more female managers. The world would be a better place. But to become one, you need to engage in a constant pissing contest with other people that want that position, which is something even most men do not want. So a feminist would say that this pissing contest needs to stop. And that is happening in some companies. But because power is involved, this is just how it works at most places. You either play the game or you don't, your choice. But don't blame the game for not wanting to compete.

@Professeur Râleur Disney is not at all pleased with the stunts KK pulled. She is on her way out. Disney is doing several things to salvage the brand, apart from KK. I think they will succeed, and they will have learned a lesson.

@sheadoherty7434 "I never said you are misogynistic" No worries, I did not get the impression you were, but I just wanted to make the point about women making good managers, and wanted to leave no doubt on the issue. But we disagree about the moniker "feminist". Feminism has served its purpose as a movement in the west. Many that now take that moniker are aggressively anti-men. That is not a good thing. But the concept that men and women are of equal value and need to be free to step in whatever role or function they fancy, even roles that used to be reserved for the opposite sex, I wholeheartedly agree with that, as long as they are willing to play the game that comes with that role. And I even think that for some roles, the rules of the game need to change because they have nasty side-effects, like narcissism or aggression being allowed in management. Management is not about who pisses the furthest (you may notice I do not have a high opinion of current management culture). Perhaps we need to come up with a new name for people who think that way about gender equivalence.
