  1. Interesting remarks about why Rome outlasted Pyrrus. We can see exactly the same thing happening in Ukraine right now. While Russia is larger than Ukraine, it is much more difficult to get men to die for a corrupt ruler in a foreign land, than to defend their own home and family.
