  1. They sure know how to put numbers to such things. It is pure greed and arrogance. MBAs get taught that workers are replaceable cogs. Which isn't true at all. Sure, everybody (including the CEO, btw) is replaceable. But at a cost. A very real, monetary cost, which Boeing is going to be paying out for a decade at least.

Putin mistakenly imagined Europe could not do without his natural gas, Trump is making the same mistake. Trump imagines himself ruler of the world, next to Xi and Putin, but he is sorely mistaken. The USA will suffer the most from what that fool has unleashed.

  3. The past two decades with Boeing have been a master class in how to drive a company into the ground. The heart of their engineering department has gone, and with them the skill and knowledge and experience required to design a new aircraft. I think the company is doomed.
