That Ukraine is now targeting the oil depots etc is partly due to new drones coming on line, and partly a middle finger to the West who discouraged such actions, but then failed to reward Ukraine for keeping back. The West has not fulfilled its commitments, while Ukraine is fighting for its life. Now the West has lost the right to pressure Ukraine to hold back, and if actions that hurt Russia also hurt Western interests (like increasing the oil price), that is just too bad. Ukraine should offer thoughts and prayers for those impacted.

  2. The problem with the "Monroe doctrine" is that it has already encouraged two world wars, and that if isolationism is pursued again, it will cause world war three. And that will definitely affect the USA.
