  2. I sure wish more American leaders understood the urgency and importance of what is happening in Ukraine right now. If left to fester as it currently is, it will dominate world history for the next 10 years. And the current politicians will only be remembered for what they failed to prevent, like Chamberlain and the "isolationists" in the US. Using hindsight, it is easy to predict that this will escalate just like the previous 2 times the USA became isolationist in the face of growing international tension aimed against its allies. History repeats itself if you fail to learn its lessons.
