  2. Biden is probably hoping that this conflict would remain quiet so that it would not interfere with the elections. However, he and his Security Advisor did not take into account that the one who started the war in Ukraine, also backs the candidacy of Trump. If there is any way in which the war can influence the elections to benefit Trump, Putin will try to trigger it. I sure hope that Harris wins, and that right after the election Biden will put support of Ukraine in overdrive.
