  1. You are very right in pointing out that nobody knows what Republicans want. They never say what they want in concrete or exact terms. I doubt Republicans know themselves what they want with the border. The only say what they don't want, never what they do want. Or they say they want things that are either illegal or unpractical, like Trump's border wall. And that also put LOADS of money in the pockets of their friends, like, again, Trump's wall that made some people extremely rich for no practical purpose.
