  1. The Republicans attached the border issues to the Ukraine aid as a cynical plot to stop aid. However, it massively backfired when Biden called their bluff and started working with them to get the aid released. Now, it looks like the Republicans are against better border protection and against aid for Ukraine. Some Americans will not care about this, but many will and will see the duplicity of the Republicans. This is yet another nail in the coffin of the Republican Party.

  2.  @TheAmericanDreamLives  The spell that Fox has over its marks is weakening. More and more are waking up to the fact that it is lying to them. But sadly, the spell is still quite strong -- witness the large number of marks that still support Trump. In most democracies, Fox would have been banned long ago (in many, it is). Media companies should not have a license to lie. The USA has taken the right of free speech too far. It should not cover huge companies, it is intended to protect individuals.
