  1. NATO has always operated under the assumption that the USA is the arsenal of democracy. That is why we European countries routinely buy US-made weapons. Because we depended on the ability of the USA to resupply quickly if necessary. Now, that will be over for ever. The EU will invest in its own military-industrial complex, and will no longer depend on the USA. Because it has proven to be unreliable. MAGA treason will have dire consequences for the USA. The only reason US weapons became so good is that all of NATO paid for their development.

  2. Rodents burrowing can definitely have caused the dam to collapse. Not mice, but more likely the Muskrat Ondatra zibethicus -- an invasive species from the Americas. These need to be actively hunted / trapped to keep them from undermining dams, and the damage they do needs to be repaired.
