  3. Wow. Depending on how "convincing" Barr was, this is a violation of the 1st amendment. Just the fact that Barr discussed the content with Fox is probably a violation of the 1st. This should be enough to put both Barr and Trump behind bars, and certainly enough to get both out of office. In any democracy, I would expect both Barr and Trump to hand in their resignations in the next 24 hours, now that this news has broken. If not, I would expect an emergency meeting of the House where Barr would be called on to explain himself, and hand in his resignations a few hours after that. Barr would be out of office on Monday afternoon, regardless of whether he handed in his resignation or not. This is something that can not be accepted in a democracy.

These fools want to re-do the civil war and think they will come out on top this time. But this time, instead of a regular army, they will probably try terrorist attacks. There is still a chance it will stop. But if not, these fools are going to be disarmed very quickly, and the only thing they will achieve is that the 2nd amendment will be forever removed from the Constitution.

  6. It is. But because Dump is the boss of the FBI and the Attorney General, they will be silent about this. BTW, this is in itself the crime of Obstruction of Justice. Any court case brought by a third party about this will linger in appeals and counter-suits for years if not a decade. The only ones who have the ability and the responsibility to stop this is the senate. But the Republican majority in the senate has stopped, halted, frustrated and ignored all investigation into Dumps crimes. Dump like a child who is just testing how far he can go. The biggest blame for the current situation is on the Republican senators, as they are responsible to reprimand him, just like the responsibility for a spoiled child is with the parents, not the child. If Moscow Mitch were to confer with Pelosi about an expedited impeachment, Dump would be history in a day or two. That he doesn't, shows how completely corrupt and hypocritical the GOP has become. VOTE BLUE!

  11. At the time, Trump was still the head of the government. No way he was going to be arrested while president. Right now, the delay is probably because the DoJ needs to get rid of a lot of Trump plants who are throwing spanners in the works. Also, the case against him will need to be absolutely water tight. The investigators probably first want to learn all they can from the little fishes before they have a clear picture, with lots of testimony, of the roles of the big fish.

We all know what happened, and we all know who is guilty. He committed Sedition, he needs to be jailed. Considering the gravity of what happened, I would expect the maximum punishment: 10 years.

  15. While absurdly stupid, her defense does show the attitude these people have: "The Constitution says what we want it to say, not what it actually says". They somehow have a mindset that because they are "Constitution-loving True Americans", whatever they think must be constitutional. But what those who opposes them say and do, must not be Constitutional. This is a psychological disorder or at best a serious delusion. It does not bode well for the Rule of Law when these people have power: they do not accept the authority of the Law over them, but instead make themselves authorities over the Law.

Like build roads and bridges, have an army fight for us, organize a legal system, investigate crimes, organize education and healthcare. Society can not function without taxes. There has never been a society that even tried it. You can argue about how much the government should do, and how much taxes should be levied, but there can be no civilization without government, and no government without taxes. Looking at the state of the roads and bridges in the US, I'd say you are not paying enough taxes. Perhaps government is misusing the taxes, but that is something to discuss with them.
