  1. No, he expects others to believe his lies because they should. He feels he is entitled to their trust, worship and money. Trump is driven by a feeling of entitlement. The reason he ups the ante is because he is being pressured. His lies are being challenged, in court and by those who should worship him. If a liar is challenged, he tells more lies. Same with the "Absolute Immunity" defense. He believes he is entitled to immunity, and doesn't realize that that is a two-edged sword. He believes Biden is NOT entitled to immunity, and doesn't realize that if he gets it, Biden gets it too.

  2. "The teachings of Jesus are too soft" That is proof that this "evangelical" movement is NOT Christian. For a Christian, if your views have any tension with the views of Jesus, your views are wrong. No Christian could support Trump. He is a servant of the other guy.
