@rileycoyote8275 Dude, I was referring to Acts 15:28, where it literally says we are not to be burdened by ANY religious laws except the three mentioned there. But you would do well to study to study Romans 6 -- WITHOUT adding the religious "I know it says here that I am free from the Law yet I'd better still keep the Law for fear of angering God". Also, note that Ro 6 is addressed EXCLUSIVELY to Christians. We have absolutely no business expecting non-Christians to hold to any (religious) law.

@rileycoyote8275 Indeed it is. One of those things is that Christians have no business telling non-Christians what to do or not to do. Because that is the opposite of Loving them. The law does not being life. It can only take life. But the Spirit is life. And where there is the Spirit of God, there is Freedom. According to Acts, even non-Jewish Christians are not required to hold any of the laws in the Bible, except for a very select few.

The Maga "christian nationalists" think they do God a favor by taking control of the government. They dont. Jesus himself Instituted the separation of Church and State when He said "My Kingdom is not of this world, otherwise My disciples would fight". Because Jesus knew that those who seek (temporal) Power instead of Influence can not follow Him. As the professor said, any "state" religion quickly becomes corrupt, if it isn't already corrupt in the first place. Christians do not seek power. They seek God, and to be a servant of all.
