  1. The difference is that here in the West we have more information available, so we know what is really going on. In Moskovy, everyone telling the truth about this war is sent to prison for 10 years. Also, most of the soldiers come from really, REALLY poor areas. As in medieval circumstances. Their families are promised huge (for them) sums of money should they expire. That is one of the reasons Russians leave their demilitarized on the battle field: no body, no need to pay compensation to the family. It pains me to write it down.

  3.  @cesariglesias297  What amazes me is that the Russians continue to fall for it. I suspect they use the same tricks the Nazis used to let people take their final shower in the camps: brutal intimidation beforehand and keeping what is about to happen concealed. But still, a man with a gun always has a choice.
