  1. This victory is highly significant for two reasons: 1). That patrol ship was made to patrol around the Kerch Bridge and keep it safe from attack, and 2). the ship was sunk on the far side of the bridge, from Ukraine's perspective, the "safe" side from Russia's perspective. This is a message to the Russians they can't fail to read: the Kerch bridge is vulnerable, the assets that are intended to protect it can't even protect themselves, and Ukraine is removing its protection layer by layer. And the Russians can't do anything about it.
