  1. That is high praise! The Bren was the best light machine gun from the war, period. So in spite of all the moaning I hear on various videos discussing the Piat, it must have done the job. I know for a fact that good use was made of them in the battle for Arnhem / Oosterbeek, prevented the Brits from being overrun by Pantzers -- while the ammunition lasted.
