  1. One reason why this show was somewhat less well received than Band of Brothers was (apart from the more disjointed story telling) that its score was less brilliant. The music often felt inappropriate or camp. Whereas the BoB score by Michael Kamen was magnificent. So sad that he had died by the time The Pacific was produced.
