I think it will take a LOOOOONG time to repair that tunnel. It is 19km long, and there is a complete train inside that is totally demolished by extreme temperatures. Most likely, part of the roof has collapsed further obstructing the tunnel, and the cargo has partially melted and fused with the rails. They will need to drag out all the remains of the train out of the part that is still structurally sound. Then they need to build supports for the roof that is no longer sound, as they drag stuff out of it. Then they can start making a permanent structural repair of the tunnel. Only after that is completed can they can rebuild the rail track and other installations in it. I will be amazed if they pull it off in less than a year.
