  2.  @welshskies  There is a small glimmer of hope in that there seems to be a civil war going on in the Tory party. It may be impossible to find a PM who is acceptable to a large enough number of Tory MP's, which would force a GE. But I am not holding my breath. Were Bozo to be re-elected, that would be a good reason for riots.

  3. Brexit has been a HUGE scam. The Brexitards were told to vote for "taking back control". Turns out they weren't part of the group that was taking back control. The Tories took back control for their donors, not for their voters.

  4. Finally, the penny drops. But that is not all of it. They also want a very small group to take possession of all land, houses and other assets, on a level way beyond the Victorian age. They want SMB's to fail, private home ownership to end, farmers to sell their land, they want Citizens to become indentured to the city they live in, etc, etc, etc. In the victorian age, you had upward mobility and improving conditions for most. Not in Tory Britain.

  5. It is difficult and time-consuming to replace the existing legislation with equivalent stuff. But it is very easy to just scrap it, which is exactly what the Tories are planning considering their time-scale. So, instead of legal protection against e.g. fire-and-rehire, you will simply have no protection against unfair dismissal. People forget that the purpose of most regulation & legislation is to protect the People from either the government or the High and Mighty. Simply scrapping it is those High and Mighty "taking back control" -- like they had before the Magna Carta. The Tory plan is to legally change the UK into a Kleptocracy where there are no bounds to what the powerful can do.

In most European countries, there would have been a revolt by now. You allowed the Brexitards to shout you down. Sure, engaging in a shouting match is not pretty nor classy. But as your literal lives are at stake, I'd get on with it.

  7. ​ @therealrobertbirchall  "we were lied to" Not even that. I am sure the Tories would have vetoed an application by Scotland, had the Brexit referendum swung the other way. Voting to remain in 2014 was a sensible decision. However, Brexit changed everything.
