  1. Mankind works best when co-operating. Brexit released the spirit of division, and the Tories drank deeply from it. Heady stuff, but ultimately self-destructive.

  2. The Tories are totally incapable of negotiations. They are spoon fed entitlement, they rule by dumping vague ideas and expecting the civil servants to sort it out, they can't be bothered with dossiers, they live in a bubble where their egos are constantly stroked, and don't understand the concept of "rules". I am always reminded of the first day of the Brexit negotiations. The Brits, all fluff and bluster who hadn't done any preparation and without any dossiers near them, facing a composed team of expert negotiators surrounded by reams of papers, most of which they knew by heart. Lambs led to the slaughter. But still they believed they had all the cards.
