  1. This is a great point to attack the Tory party. They made a promise, it would really help the people of the UK, and they are just unwilling to keep their promise. Why? Presumably because it would mean a rise in another tax, or a cut to the various grifts by those on the gravy train. It makes the treachery and corruption of the Tories felt by the lower-income voters.

  2. You know, I don't understand UK politics. The Tories are known for never keeping an election promise, even though they have full control of Parliament and all departments of government. In my country, election promises are often not kept because of the need to compromise with other parties. Our parties rarely make hard promises for this reason, and say things like "We want so and so", or "We will fight for this and that". And usually they do exactly that. But in the UK, the Tories make hard promises, only to ignore them. Why on earth are people still voting for them???? And don't come with that drivel of "Labour is just as bad". Research will show that Labour usually makes good on its promises.
