It will require a miracle for the UK to come out of Brexit as one nation and with a somewhat functional economy, 50 years from now. IMHO, it is more likely the UK will break up and the English economy melt down before their eventual rescue by the IMF and the EU.

Bad as the trade situation is, it is a mere bump compared to the catastrophe that will come when the EU requires financial Euro services be held on EU soil under EU regulations underwritten by companies operating from within the EU. Within a few months of those regulations being announced, the majority of the financial service industry will move out of London. It will be a blood bath, gutting the UK economy. And it will happen in a year or three. But obviously, the Brexitards knew what they voted for.

  5. The quip about IT systems is all the more damning because this was one of the few things the UK government had full control over, and 5 years to prepare. I know you shouldn't ascribe to malice that which can be explained through incompetence, but it certainly looks like the Tory government is purposefully destroying the economy of the UK. They couldn't have made Brexit a bigger disaster if they had tried.
