There is no greater proof that FPtP is a bad system than that there are people actively sabotaging a campaign because that would mean their fraction gets more (relative) power. In PR, it is much more likely that people who disagree with the party course split off and start their own party. That would mean they get some seats, and might even form a coalition. But you'd be sure that people who vote for them, actually agree with their policies, instead of voting out of habit.

@Boppy-B-B It is impossible for radicals to get more influence than they currently have in the Tory party. Or in the American Republican party. In both countries, these parties have been hijacked by radicals. And in both countries people are elected by FPtP. Extremists are moderated by the coalition partners in PR. Not so in FPtP.
