  1. The opportunities for the Opposition to challenge the government are limited to 6 (six) questions per week, and none of them are answered. As long as no debate has been scheduled on the particular topic, a topic can not be discussed or mentioned by the Opposition. And in this phony democracy, the Opposition does not have the right to schedule debates (or have them scheduled). This is very much unlike mine own parliament, where any MP can request to have a debate and when he/she can find 30 (20%) of MPs who agree, the debate will (usually) be scheduled.

  2. Lying to Parliament in general, even feigning ignorance when it can be shown you did know or should have known, results in a swift end to a political career where I live. Lying to a Parliamentary Inquiring is a crime and will land you in jail.
