Trade in and out of Britain will be vastly reduced, and that what is traded, will be in bigger shipments. SMB's and the public will suffer, but large companies will not.   2. ​ @geraldwagner8739  Think so too. No driver will want to wait days in a queue without pay. It makes much more sense to let Customs do their thing over containers instead of trucks with drivers. A container can be left in the yard for a week until all the paperwork is sorted, no problem. A Container will probably become the smallest item that can be shipped across the channel, with airfreight catering for small volume - high value - high urgency shipments. The rest will just have to live with a 1 or 2 week delay due to Customs.
