  1. Brexit is not something people get sacked for in business. They get prosecuted for such disasters. Even God Himself will punish those who inflicted this outrage on their own people. As Mr. Tusk said: "I wonder what the special place in Hell looks like for those who promoted Brexit without even a sketch of a plan to carry it out safely." I don't think he was kidding.

  2. ​ @ADifferentBias  While at the surface and in the short term Hungary is a challenge for the EU, it will come round in the future as its culture is infused with input from freer nations and its economy gets more sensitive to "gentle nudges" from the other member states. We see this already in Poland, where support for its dictator seems to be declining. In the end, Hungary is too small to permanently endanger the EU, and the strength of the EU is its diplomacy and economy, not its rhetoric nor sanctions.

  3. While I expected Brexit to be bad, I did not expect it to be this bad. The Tories seem intent on making Brexit as hard on their populace as they possibly can.
