A Different Bias

Current Tory politics is "We Do What We Want, F*CK Everybody Else". That honourable attitude will not go very far. I think the EU will let the UK continue to ignore the NIP, but that it will move the financial services from London to the EU before mid-2025. We can not trust these maleficent clowns with our financial heart, not even if Labour manages to win the next election because Tories may well be back in power after that. After taking the heart out of the UK economy, the UK itself can not continue. The NIP will become irrelevant due to the UK's breakup. The peaces left (Scotland, Wales, England) can apply for EU membership after that. England can expect to be kept in the waiting chamber a LOOOOOOONG time.

@hologram1211 Not true. Currently, it is the sole responsibility of the UK to carry out the NIP. When Ireland re-unifies, Ireland will carry out the necessary checks for goods moving into the EU. This makes a unified Ireland the best solution for this situation. And ultimately, this will be the inevitable outcome of Brexit. So silly for the DUP to support it... Massive own goal. The DUP and Lord Frost have done more for Irish Unification than anyone in the past 101 years. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Personally, I would not want to be the grown up in this situation. The children would continuously bite my legs and try to trip me over, then blame me for their work and cause me to loose the next GE. I am afraid the UK needs to go through a very deep recession before it discovers who the real culprits are. However, it might be possible for a new government to prosecute the Tories for Treason, given their corruption & loyalty to Putin. That might help in cleaning out the nation and making them ready for better times. A very large group of English people is deeply deceived on how the world works, and completely passive with regards to politics. That needs to change before things can get better.

The EU has announced it will take the heart out of the UK economy, by mid-2025. Presumably, the companies affected will start to move business well before that, to prevent market shocks that might cost them. The UK will not survive that. And after the UK breakup, the NIP will have become irrelevant as N.I. automatically unifies with the RoI when that happens.
