  1. I have never ever heard a policy from Tory that is good for the majority of Britons. The only way they can get any votes at all is by appealing to the baser instincts of mankind: greed and selfishness. Their marks fail to understand that "what is good for you is usually, on average, also good for me". Whereas what is bad for you will, especially in the long run, also be bad for me, no matter how good it may seem for me in the short term. They could have learned that from their own history, just look back 100 to 150 years, perhaps read some Dickens or Hugo. But it seems they must re-learn this lesson through painful experience. Mankind works best when we work together, not against each other. (I am not talking about naivitee here. For example Russia and China are ruled by vicious kleptocratic regimes. Our co-operation with them must be carefully and strategically chosen to empower their people instead of strengthening their oligarchy. Nor how you should think towards those above you in financial status. But I am talking about how you treat your peers and especially those on a lower social level in your own country, those who many will look down on -- hurting themselves in the long run.)
