That international agreements are not about being "fair" but about power is an exaggeration. Both sides of the table know that to get a deal, it must be a win for both sides. However, what is a "win" is defined by its monetary value, not its sentimental or political value. The monetary value to the UK of fishing is a rounding error compared with access to the single market, and the EU knows it. That the turnaround will be a major embarrassment for Bozo is an added benefit.
