  1. Inflation can drop, but that doesn't mean the massive inflation of 2022 is gone. That inflation has permanently incorporated itself into the prices people have to pay. It will take several years of good pay rises to catch up. And STFU to all the goons who threaten with "wage-price spirals". Wage rises do not cause inflation. It is obviously clear that the current inflation is caused by some companies raking in massive profits. And even if so, it is immoral for CEO's to grab 30% wage increases and then say there is no money for a pay rise for their employees. And that is putting it mildly.
